EMC – METHOD OF OPERATION
Energy Minimizing Concept
EMC is based on a low pressure, jet pulse cleaning method and operates with a cleaning pressure of 0.8 – 2.2 bar. Cleaning is so efficient and effective that the filter can be operated with a low differential pressure. This concept is realized in what we call our Zero-Flow Design. This allows individual filter modules to be pulled from the gas stream and cleaned at staggered intervals, resulting in gentle and low-impact cleaning of the filter bags. Scheuch’s highly developed and proven Impulse cleaning system not only works with a low tank pressure, but also with a low required volume of compressed air.
