We offer three types of fan drive:
Direct drive via the motor shaft, the belt drive and the clutch-based drive.We also offer three types of impeller:
Type F is an impeller for transporting pure gases, Type H is an impeller for transporting dust-laden gases and shavings, and Type K is used to transport fibrous material. Drive power is rated at up to 1,000 kW.
New: Radial fans with direct drives rated up to 132 kW
In spite of higher performance levels, these new fans cut costs by roughly one-third in comparison to fans with clutch-based drive systems. And they do so with a smaller, space-saving footprint. When used in combination with a frequency converter, this fan type is a cost-effective alternative to belt-drive fans, an important prerequisite for the continuous adjustment needed to optimise fan performance for a plant’s operating conditions. Benchmark data for the new fans: Drive power up to 132 kW; volume flow up to 100,000 m³/h; pressure increase up to 20,000 Pa; transport temperature up to 250° C; impeller diameter up to 1400 mm. This fan program was engineered and dimensioned based on the latest insights in fluid technology.
